CONCURRENT TECHNOLOGIES AND SERVICES LIMITED is looking for a full time DNA analyst to work in a DNA banking and analysis laboratory. The primary task will be to process human biological samples, perform DNA analysis, train inexperienced laboratory staff, conduct data analysis, prepare reports and perform any assigned task.
Key Requirements: Requires a highly motivated individual with background and hands- on experience in DNA isolation, PCR and capillary electrophoresis. Ability to use and operate a Genetic Analyzer e. g. the ABI 3500, analyze DNA data with analysis software, interpret DNA STR data and use of a laboratory information management system will be an advantage.
Education and Experience: A bachelor or higher degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biology, Genetics, Medical Laboratory Science/Technology or a related discipline is required. Hands-on experience working in a DNA analysis, genomics or molecular diagnostic laboratory is essential.
Job Location: Abuja, Nigeria.
